Ushers are responsible for helping people find a seat if it is crowded, passing the collection baskets, distributing bulletins as people leave, and straightening the worship space so it is ready for the next liturgy. Ushers are usually scheduled once every three months. Contact Jamie Melody if you are interested in volunteering as an usher.
Lectors are entrusted with the task of making the word of God come alive by proclaiming it for the Christian assembly. Training sessions are offered by request and the daily readings can be accessed online to help you prepare. Lectors are usually scheduled once every four months. If you are interested in becoming a lector, contact Jamie Melody.
Eucharistic ministers are special ministers who assist the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. A minister of Holy Communion should be one who takes their faith seriously and is a Catholic in good standing. Training sessions are offered periodically. Eucharistic ministers are usually scheduled once every month. Contact Jamie Melody if you are interested in becoming an eucharistic minister
Musicians gather the voice of the assembly into one. Whether you sing or play an instrument, your ministry is essential to the worship of the parish. If you are interested in participating in the music ministry, contact Mike Baumhover.
