The Ames Area Stephen Ministry invites everyone to their annual Morning of Reflection. Katie Patrizio will be the presenter, speaking about 1) what is holiness; 2) peace and the Holy Spirit; and 3) prayer.
The envelopes for mass intentions will be in the back of the church. We will try to get the date you have chosen, but it will depend on if that date is already taken. The suggested donation for a mass intention is at least $5. You may put them in the offertory, or leave them in the sacristy.
In the book that Ron and Tonya Meyer are reading for diaconate formation, "Forming Intentional Disciples - The Path to Knowing and Following Jesus," by Sherry Weddell, Eucharistic Adoration is described "as spiritual radiation therapy, because it places the soul in the direct presence of Jesus Christ, in the trust that He will act if we leave the door open the merest crack. All it requires is the ability to sit down."
