Get involved...there are roles for everyone!

Greeter
The greeter is often the first contact a person has when entering the church. Their warmth and friendliness are crucial to that person's experience of the church. Greeters are usually scheduled once every three to four months. Contact Donald Johnson if you are interested in volunteering as a greeter.

Acolyte
Acolytes assist the priest at Mass in various ways. A boy or girl may serve after they have received First Communion and participated in the training session held each fall.  Acolytes are usually scheduled once every three to four months. If you are interested in becoming an acolyte, contact Christie Gustafson.

Sacristan
Sacristans provide sanctuary preparation and care. They are scheduled for a one month time period approximately twice per year. If you are interested in volunteering as a sacristan, contact Tonya Meyer.

Usher
Ushers are responsible for helping people find a seat if it is crowded, passing the collection baskets, distributing bulletins as people leave, and straightening the worship space so it is ready for the next liturgy. Ushers are usually scheduled once every three months. Contact Donald Johnson if you are interested in volunteering as an usher.

Lector
Lectors are entrusted with the task of making the word of God come alive by proclaiming it for the Christian assembly. Training sessions are offered and a workbook is provided to help you prepare the readings effectively. Lectors are usually scheduled once every four months. If you are interested in becoming a lector, contact Gary Bailey.

Eucharistic Minister
Eucharistic ministers are special ministers who assist the priest in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. A minister of Holy Communion should be one who takes their faith seriously and is a Catholic in good standing. Training sessions are offered periodically. Eucharistic ministers are usually scheduled once every month. Contact Cindy Phelan if you are interested in becoming an eucharistic minister.

Music Ministry
Musicians gather the voice of the assembly into one. Whether you sing or play an instrument, your ministry is essential to the worship of the parish. If you are interested in participating in the music ministry, contact Mike Baumhover.
